This Payment & Billing Policy outlines the rules and procedures governing payments, billing practices, subscription charges, and financial transactions conducted through the Namma Electric Platform (“Platform”), operated by Modi Enterprises (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By using the Platform, customers and driver partners agree to comply with the terms of this Payment & Billing Policy.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

The Platform may allow customers to pay for ride services using one or more of the following payment methods:

• Unified Payments Interface (UPI)

• Debit cards and credit cards

• Mobile wallets or digital payment services

• Cash payments directly to the driver partner

The availability of specific payment methods may vary depending on location, system integration, or payment service providers.

All electronic payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment gateways that comply with applicable financial security standards.

2. Fare Calculation and Billing

Ride fares displayed on the Platform may be calculated based on various factors including:

• distance travelled

• estimated ride duration

• real-time traffic conditions

• base fare and applicable pricing rules

• demand and driver availability

The Platform may display an estimated fare before the ride begins. However, the final fare may vary depending on the actual route taken, waiting time, traffic conditions, or other operational factors.

Once a ride is completed, the final fare will be displayed in the application and may be payable through the selected payment method.

3. GST and Applicable Taxes

Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other statutory taxes may be charged on ride fares, platform fees, subscription charges, or other services as required by Indian tax regulations.

Where applicable:

• GST will be included or added to the displayed price

• tax invoices may be generated electronically

• users agree to pay all applicable taxes as part of the service charges

Tax rates may change in accordance with government regulations.

4. Driver Subscription Billing

Driver partners must maintain an active subscription plan to access ride requests through the Platform.

The available plans include:

Daily Plan:

₹35 per day + applicable GST

Monthly Plan:

₹999 per month + applicable GST

Important conditions:

• subscription charges must be paid in advance

• once a subscription is activated, the payment is non-refundable

• expired subscriptions will disable access to new ride requests

• the Company reserves the right to modify subscription pricing or introduce new plans

5. Platform Fees and Additional Charges

In addition to ride fares or subscription plans, the Platform may charge certain service-related fees including:

• platform convenience fees

• booking or technology fees

• cancellation charges (where applicable)

• promotional or service-related charges

Any applicable charges will be displayed transparently within the Platform before or during the transaction where possible.

6. Payment Processing

Digital payments made through the Platform are processed through third-party payment gateways or financial service providers.

The Company does not store sensitive financial information such as:

• full credit card numbers

• card security codes

• banking passwords

Users are responsible for ensuring that payment information entered into the Platform is accurate and valid.

7. Failed Transactions

In some cases, payment transactions may fail due to reasons including:

• insufficient funds

• network or gateway errors

• bank authorization failures

• technical issues

If a payment fails:

• the ride may be marked as unpaid

• the user may be required to complete the payment through another method

• access to certain services may be restricted until outstanding payments are cleared

8. Refunds and Payment Adjustments

Refunds may be issued in certain situations including:

• duplicate payments

• payment deducted but ride not completed

• technical errors in billing

• cancelled rides where payment was already processed

Refund requests will be reviewed by the Company, and if approved, refunds may be processed within a reasonable timeframe through the original payment method where possible.

The Company reserves the right to investigate suspicious or fraudulent refund requests.

9. Billing Disputes

If a user believes that an incorrect charge has been applied, they must notify the Company within a reasonable time by contacting customer support.

Upon receiving a dispute request:

• the Company may review the ride records and payment logs

• additional information may be requested from the user or driver

• appropriate corrections or adjustments may be made if necessary

The Company’s decision after investigation shall be considered final, subject to applicable law.

10. Changes to Payment and Billing Policy

The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Payment & Billing Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
