Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the rules governing ride cancellations, applicable charges, and refund processing on the Namma Electric Platform (“Platform”). The Platform is operated by Modi Enterprises (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By using the Platform, users and driver partners agree to the terms described in this Policy.

1. Ride Cancellation

The Platform allows both riders and driver partners to cancel ride requests under certain conditions. However, cancellations may result in charges or penalties depending on the circumstances.

Rider Cancellation

A rider may cancel a ride request at any time through the application. However, cancellation charges may apply in the following situations:

• if the rider cancels after the driver partner has already arrived at the pickup location

• if the rider cancels after a reasonable waiting period has elapsed

• if repeated cancellations occur within a short period of time

Where applicable, a cancellation fee may be charged to compensate the driver partner for time and travel spent reaching the pickup location.

The cancellation fee amount may vary depending on platform policies, ride type, and location.

Driver Cancellation

Driver partners are expected to accept and complete ride requests responsibly.

If a driver partner frequently cancels ride requests or fails to arrive at the pickup location, the Platform may apply corrective actions including:

• temporary restrictions on receiving ride requests

• warnings or penalties

• reduced ride allocation priority

• account suspension in cases of repeated misuse

Driver partners are encouraged to cancel rides only for legitimate reasons such as safety concerns, vehicle issues, or incorrect ride information.

2. Refund Conditions

Refunds may be issued in certain situations where a payment has been incorrectly charged or a ride could not be completed.

Refunds may be considered under circumstances including:

• ride request failed but payment was deducted

• technical or payment processing errors

• duplicate payments for the same ride

• incorrect fare calculation due to system errors

• cancellation where payment was already charged but the ride did not occur

Refund requests may be subject to verification by the Company to confirm the validity of the claim.

The Company reserves the right to decline refund requests if fraudulent activity or misuse is suspected.

3. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund request has been reviewed and approved, the refund will typically be processed within 24 Hours.

Refund timelines may vary depending on:

• the payment method used

• banking or payment gateway processing times

• verification requirements

Refunds are generally issued through the original payment method used for the transaction whenever possible.

4. Non-Refundable Charges

Certain charges may not be eligible for refunds, including but not limited to:

• valid cancellation fees applied according to platform rules

• completed ride charges where services were successfully delivered

• driver partner subscription charges once activated

Driver subscription billing is governed under the applicable Driver Partner Agreement and Payment & Billing Policy.

5. Dispute Resolution for Charges

If a rider or driver partner believes a charge has been applied incorrectly, they may submit a dispute through customer support.

The Company may review:

• ride logs and trip details

• GPS and route records

• payment transaction records

• communication logs where relevant

Based on the investigation, the Company may issue refunds, adjustments, or reject the dispute if the charge is found to be valid.

6. Policy Updates

The Company reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in operational practices, legal requirements, or platform functionality.

Updated policies will be published on the Platform with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
